DEAN M. FELTHAUSER
On December 26, 2024, Dean M. Felthauser, 88, of Pahrump, Nevada, passed away. Dean was born in Hill City, MN. He married his first wife, Marie, in 1955 and with her they had six children: Dean, Wesley, Maria, Alicia, Michael, and Christopher.
Dean was a hard worker and started out as a dishwasher in a restaurant making $9 a day, but it didn't take him long to work his way up and he became a successful meat cutter. He retired at age 50.
It was in 1978 that Dean met the love of his life, Carol Smith. They married in January of 1980. They lived in Las Vegas before discovering and moving to Pahrump, NV. They spent their life together traveling in their RV, visiting family and friends and attending music festivals. In 2012 Carol's health began to deteriorate and they relocated from Pahrump to Wadena, MN. Carol passed away in 2014 and shortly after that Dean returned to Pahrump, NV. Dean enjoyed his traveling in his RV, boating, fishing, singing karaoke, playing Mexican train with his friends, and dancing with the ladies.
Dean is preceded in death by his loving wife Carol, son Wesley, and Wesley's mother Marie; brothers Donald, Gerald, and Gordon; sisters Vivian, and MaryLou.
Dean is buried alongside his loving wife, Carol, at the Pahrump Family Mortuary.
Dean's celebration of life will be held on July 12, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Moose Lodge #808, 1100 E. Second St., Pahrump, NV 89048.
