Deborah Gertrude Flaherty Wagner (Debbie) Obituary

Carson City, Nevada - Deborah Gertrude Flaherty Wagner, 72, of Carson City, Nevada, passed away on April 17, 2026.

Born on April 4, 1954, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Debbie was the youngest of three siblings, with two sisters and one brother. She graduated from Harding High School and, in her early twenties, followed her sisters to Las Vegas, where she worked at her brother's pizza place, Genos.

She later married and became a devoted mother, eventually settling in Tonopah, where she raised her three children. Family was the center of her world, and being a mom, grandma, and great-grandmother brought her the greatest joy and fulfillment.

Debbie loved playing cards, Scrabble, and trying her luck at the slots, always hopeful for a jackpot. Even when faced with physical limitations, she refused to let anything slow her down, continuing to live life with determination and spirit.

She will be remembered as one of the kindest and happiest people, someone who had a special way of bringing out the best in everyone around her. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Vera (Wagner) Trout (spouse Josh Trout), Georgie Wagner, and Guy Wagner; bonus son Eric White; grandchildren AshLynne Wagner, Julian Trout, Daisie Wagner, Jenna Trout, Georgie Wagner, and Ryker Wagner; and great-grandchildren Madelynne Corrigan and Seylor Rue (expected).

Funeral services will be held at Tonopah Cemetery in Tonopah, Nevada, on April 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with a graveside service followed by a celebration of life.
