DEBRA JEANNE TRAASDAHL BOWMAN

February 9, 1953 - June 5, 2026

Debra Jeanne Traasdahl Bowman, 73, of Pahrump, Nevada, passed away on June 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Debra was born on February 9, 1953, in Boulder City, Nevada, to Osborne "Otto" Traasdahl and Edith Arlene Rodeback. She spent her childhood in Boulder City and later made Pahrump her beloved home, where she became a cherished member of the community.

Debra earned her bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Brigham Young University and devoted much of her life to her family. She was a loving stay-at-home mother, assisting in operating the family business, and also worked in interior design. Throughout her life, she generously shared her talents and time with others. She was deeply involved in her community and faithfully served in numerous callings within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Alongside her husband, Mark, she touched countless lives through her service, leadership, and unwavering devotion to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Her testimony of the Savior was a guiding light throughout her life and an example to all who knew her.

She found joy in gardening, baking, scrapbooking, crafting, shopping, watching movies, hosting gatherings, and creating special memories with family and friends. Debra had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and loved. She was known for her kindness, beauty both inside and out, quick sense of humor, and generous heart. More than anything, she loved her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved and creating traditions and memories that will be cherished for generations.

Debra is survived by her loving husband, Mark Bowman; her children, Ashlee, Cahlan, and Sariah; her grandchildren, Bella Noyce, Serenity Hernandez, Arya Hernandez, Kale Hernandez, Aiden Bowman, and Odin Bowman; her great-grandchild, Oakland Hernandez; and her sister, Kareen Bybee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Osborne "Otto" Traasdahl and Edith Arlene Rodeback; her brother, Roger Traasdahl; her sister, Madeline Morris; and her brother, Michael Traasdahl.

Funeral services will be held on June 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints just west of the Hafen ranch road and Manse intersection. A viewing will be held early at 9:00 AM to 9:40 AM with the family prayer to be held directly after 9:45 AM .

Though her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in the knowledge that families are eternal. Debra's legacy of faith, service, compassion, and love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
