GLENDA MAGNUSON

Glenda Magnuson, 82, of Pahrump, Nevada, passed away on December 27, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1943, in Greeley, Colorado, and grew up in La Mesa, California.

She married Jerry Magnuson on December 13, 1961. They were married for almost fifty years until his death on November 19, 2011.

Glenda lived a life rooted in love for her family and a steady, caring presence for those around her. She was thoughtful, sincere, and dependable — the kind of person people trusted and leaned on. She took pride in the home and traditions she built over the years.

Glenda found joy in the quiet things she loved most: gardening, reading, crocheting and needlepoint, making her home a place that felt warm and welcoming. She was known for her collection of owl figurines, always saying "It's not junk, it's a collection", a charming reflection of her personality that those close to her will always associate with her. The winter holidays were especially meaningful, and Glenda's fruitcakes and pies became a beloved tradition — a gift she shared year after year with the people she loved.

Glenda is survived by her children, Carl Magnuson (Barbara) and Sheri Kruger (Dave); her grandchildren, Dyana, Brianna, and Kayla; her great-grandchildren Tyler & Kyle; and her sister, Jackie Brooks, along with her second family at Mom's Diner and the staff at Inspirations Senior Living, all who will miss her dearly. Her memory will be carried forward through the family and friends who knew her, loved her, and were shaped by her kindness and steady strength.

No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Glenda's memory to the Nye County Animal Shelter.

Glenda will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
