GRANT C. SMITH

May 6, 1939 - September 19, 2025

Grant C. Smith passed away peacefully at home in Pahrump, NV on September 19 at the age of 86. He had resided in Pahrump for the past 12 years with his wife, Irene Smith.

Born in Driggs, Idaho to Eugene Smith and Cristel Smith, he worked most of his life as an aircraft mechanic for Western Airlines and Delta Airlines. He lived in Rush Valley, Utah, and commuted to the Salt Lake City, Utah airport. In his "spare" time he enjoyed farming the 30 acres they owned in Rush Valley, Utah.

He is predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Harry and Max. He is survived by his wife, Irene, and their nine children: Robin, Rhonda, Darin, Jennie, Becky, Carma, Mitch, Mike, and Lisa. He is also survived by his siblings living in Idaho who are Mabel, Martha, "Buzz," and Benny.

On October 3, a Celebration of Life will be held at Wood Funeral Home in Ammon, Idaho. Details will be available at www.woodfuneralhome.com. Burial to follow at the Darby Cemetery in Driggs, Idaho.
