IRA PORTER BARTON
Ira Porter Barton was called home on Jan. 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Sue, his four children, Shirley, Blaine, Lee Ann and Julie, twelve grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. A proud member of Trinity Assembly of God Church, Porter was a loyal employee for Shell Oil Company as a head roustabout until his retirement after thirty years. He worked for Ace Hardware in La Pine, OR. and Pahrump, NV. while still finding time to spend in his shop or give rides on his train.
Steadfast throughout the years, we could always count on your helping hand, and your advice, whether good or not, was always welcome. Relax and go fishing, Porter, you earned your place at God's table. P.S. watch out for lizards.
