JOHN E VORE

March 17, 2025 - age 84

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John E. Vore, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, bro-ther, and friend, who passed away peacefully on Monday March 17, 2025 at the age of 84. John was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary, as well as his loving wife Tella. John is survived by his sons Bob and Mike Vore, his sisters Betty Meyer, Barbara Gard and Nancy Kinney, as well as four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

John was born at St. Luke's Hospital in Altadena, California, and grew up in the area of Monrovia, CA. John worked as an electrical engineer and then started his own home remodeling business. John and his wife Tella enjoyed traveling to craft shows and being involved in both the Moose and Elks Lodges in Nevada. John enjoyed fishing at the Spring Valley Reservoir in eastern Nevada and this had started to become an annual trip with his son and grandsons.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Choice Hills Baptist Church, 340 W Mesquite Ave, Pahrump, NV 89060 on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 at 11:00 am. Family and friends will gather to share memories and honor the legacy of a man who truly knew how to live and love. John's kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his God, his family and his country will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, John. You will always be remembered and loved.
