Karrie Judean Powell (Plemmons) Age 73, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025

in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 1, 1952, in Visalia, California,

Karrie lived a life marked by devotion - to her faith, her family

and those around her.

Karrie was the beloved wife of Cliff Powell, with whom she shared a deep

and enduring love. As the eldest of six children, she embraced a nurturing

role early in life. She helped raise her siblings with unwavering dedication,

often sacrificing her own childhood to support her mother and care for the

family. Her siblings - James Quirk Jr. and his wife Alicia; Cindy Perry and her

Husband Jack; Fran Silverstein and her husband Jan; and Lewis Hansen and his

Wife Teresa - remember her not only as a sister but as a second mother whose

guidance shaped their lives.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step dad, Lavada and Clyde Parmer;

her grandparents Lewis and Clairbel Dansby; her sister Debbie Quintana; and her father William

Plemmons. Her memory is cherished by many extended family members including

her Aunt Sherry Donegan; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews;

and many cousins.

A woman of deep Christian faith, Karrie's life was centered around serving the Lord.

Her spiritual journey was filled with joy through bible study groups, church functions,

and Christian retreats. Her commitment to faith was not just personal - it radiated outward

in how she lived each day with kindness and purpose.

Karrie found joy in expressing herself through digital art. She loved creating beautiful

pieces on her computer that reflected both creativity and serenity. Her favorite color

was purple - a hue that symbolized both royalty and spirituality - and she had a

special fondness for butterflies, which to many represent transformation and grace.

Spending time with family brought Karrie immense happiness. Whether gathered for

holidays or simple moments together, she treasured every opportunity to be surrounded by

those she loved.

Karrie Judean Powell leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, faith, and quiet strength. May

her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on January 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Amargosa Christian Fellowship on Farm Road, in Amargosa Valley, Nevada. Potuck to follow at the church after graveside service.
