KATHLEEN JEAN DONOVAN
May 13, 1954 - March 7, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Jean, known to family and friends as Jean. She was born on May 13, 1954 in Columbus, Montana.
Jean's most treasured moments were the times she and Diana could escape to the Redwoods, which brought her the most peace and comfort besides her home and her dogs. Like her mother, she was very vocal in her convictions and standing up for the underdog.
Jean was known for the beautiful things she could create, she was accomplished in crocheting, beadwork, hardanger, brazilian embroidery, wire work and jewelry making. Anything she tried, she excelled at.
Jean is survived by her wife, Diana Shaw, her sisters, Jacqueline Donvan-Eadie, Jolene Shabet and Jerlyn Donovan. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert (Buck) Donovan and Jackie Donovan and her brothers, David and Robert Donovan.
Jean will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her passion in debating and creativity. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
