Pahrump, NV - Marilyn Ruth Brown was born on December 12, 1958, in Coos Bay, Oregon, to her loving parents, Vera and Rayo Murphy. She made her home in Pahrump, Nevada, and passed away on February 21, 2026.

Marilyn was a selfless and kind woman. Her greatest joy was her family. She deeply loved her three sons, her daughters-in-law, and absolutely adored her eight grandchildren. Nothing meant more to her than being "Mom" and "Grandma."

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Rayo Murphy, and her brothers, Doug Murphy, Paul Murphy, and Ronald Murphy.

She is survived by her siblings, Randy Murphy and Christine Brown; her sons, Peter Brown, Andrew Brown, and Jacob Brown; her daughters-in-law, Charity Brown, Victoria Brown, and Vanessa Brown; and her cherished grandchildren, Braden, Wesley, Nolan, Levi, Zoe, Corban, Madilynn, and Maverick.

She loved spending time with her family, gardening, and crafting. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
