Pahrump, Nevada - Marilyn E. Dolan of Pahrump, Nevada, went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 17, 2026, after a long illness, she was 76 years old.

She was born in Allegan, Michigan, in March 1950 to Barbara J. Anders and Earl Mohney Jr. At a young age, the family moved to Colorado, where Marilyn grew up and found her deep love for horses. She was an avid horsewoman, Marilyn possessed deep knowledge and experience with horses that few could match, she had truly forgotten more about horses than some will ever know.

In 1994, she and her late husband moved to Pahrump, where Marilyn would spend the rest of her life. She met her husband William "Bill" Dolan in 2008 at a local Pahrump Rodeo, and the couple married on December 21, 2010. Together they enjoyed traveling, cruising, and creating many cherished memories.

She was a proud volunteer and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Her dedication to service and her community reflected her generous spirt and love for helping others.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara J. Nolon and Earl Mohney Jr; her stepfather, Carl Nolon; her late husband, William Maddox; and her stepdaughter, Pam Maddox.

She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Dolan of Pahrump; her sister, Diana Hill (Frank) of Colorado; her son, Scott May (Heidi) of Utah; her daughter, Beth Allis (John) of Colorado; her stepdaughter, Tracy Fish (Chris) of California; and many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Pahrump Family Mortuary, 8441 Vicki Ann Rd., Pahrump, on September 11 at 10:00 a.m. Marilyn will be interred at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada, following the memorial service with family in attendance.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marilyn's memory to the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, 860 Dolwick Dr., Erlanger, KY 41018.
