MICHAEL DAVID NOWICKI

November 28,1953--March 20, 2026

It is with great sadness that we are telling everyone of the passing of our dearly loved brother, Michael David Nowicki on March 20, 2026 in Pahrump, Nevada. Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1953 to parents Rita Mary and Joseph Walter Nowicki (both now deceased). Michael moved to California in 1975 to live with his oldest sibling, Pat Howard and family. Michael was a beautiful soul with a wonderfully dry sense of humor. His days were spent with thoughts of the Lakers, the Angels and the Detroit Lions. He spent his time with Special Olympics bowling, performing track and field, and shooting basketball. His favorite was bowling.

Michael worked in Riverside, California for Marcelo's Pizza, attended Life School for the disabled, and worked at Ability Counts from 1976 until 2017. He loved every minute he was busy and he loved every person he met. He continued his participation with Special Olympics in Pahrump, NV, where he met fun people to be with, especially in bowling and basketball.

Michael has three brothers: Dennis (Paula) Nowicki, Mark Bond, Joseph (Danielle) Nowicki, and two sisters: Pat (Bill) Howard and Mary (Bill) Ellis. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews Bill (Christy) Howard, Joann (Mike) Miller, Tim (Dana) Howard, Dennis Nowicki Jr, Matthew (Wanda) Nowicki, Kenneth (Melisa) Nowicki, Lindsey (Joel) Hlubic- Boettcher, Evette (Adiano) Bonfiglio, Tyler Ellis, Rita Nowicki, Daniel Nowicki, and many cousins and second-generation nieces and nephews all over the country.

We miss you Michael. You brought us joy and taught us what life is really all about.

A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held June 20, 2026 at Nevada Treasure RV from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. 301 W. Leslie, Pahrump, NV.
