RICHARD REILLY KNIGHT

March 4, 1980 - December 24, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Richard Reilly Knight on December 24, 2025 after a valiant fight with cancer at the age of 45. Richard was born March 4, 1980 to Glenda and Rick Knight.

Richard never gave up on his faith or his love for Jesus. He was a native Nevadan who lived life, loved his animals, and enjoyed travel and food. Richard was not rich in money but rich in friends and love. He was a giving man with any and everything he had. Richard had a fierce and fighting personality and would defend the ones he loved. He was also very sarcastic and artistic.

Richard is survived by his parents Rick and Glenda Knight, sisters Dawña (Juan) Razo and Kristy (Mila) Knight, and brothers Michael Knight and D. A. (Victoria) Knight; nieces Kylie (Eddie) Sanchez, Ashlyn Razo, Micayla (Brandon) Hampton, niece Jaelyn Knight, nephew Elijah Knight, and great nephews Kareem Montgomery and Izel Sanchez. Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents Glen Sweney, Violet Sweney, Wanda Wells, Ralph Knight, Juanita Knight, and uncle Jerry Knight.

Richard will be sorely missed by all his family and friends. We would like to acknowledge his forever friends: Teresa, Jake, Lacrecia and Mysti -- friends who helped him and brightened his day when his world was dark.

A celebration of life will be held on May 23. In lieu of flowers, family asks that you make a donation to The International Taskforce for Advanced Skin Cancer (ITASC).
