ROBERT E. SUNDERLAND

September 17, 1951 - May 21, 2025

Robert "Papa" "Bob" Sunderland was born September 17, 1951 in Wickenburg, Arizona. He became one of the original settlers of Pahrump, Nevada, his long-time home base during his truck driving career spanning over 50 years. He passed away May 21, 2025 at 1:47 p.m. in Las Vegas. He was a selfless man---the very definition of a family man.

Bob was a human GPS, demonstrating astonishing navigational and directional skills. He traveled with his faithful dog, Spots.

His "internal GPS" lead him to the love of his life, Debra. He and Debra were happily married for 26 years.

Bob will be mourned by his wife, and his daughter Alexa Dixon of Las Vegas. He will also be mourned by dear brother-in-law Doc Davis, several nieces, a nephew, and all of his grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Bob's Celebration of Life will occur Saturday, June 7 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Oasis Outreach, 1061 E. 2nd St.
