Elko, Nv - Wallace Thomas Boundy July 30 1937 to May 31 2025:

Wallace Thomas Boundy passed on Saturday May 31, 2025 in Elko, NV with family and friends at his side.

Wally, as he was called, came into this world at his Uncle Wallace Rose's home in Bountiful, UT on July 30, 1937 to John Andrew and Mable Rose Boundy. He was the seventh of eight children.

Raised in Cherry Creek, NV until the family moved to Montello, NV where he graduated Montello High School in 1955. Wally continued his education at UNR, earning an AAS degree in Civil Engineering. He served two years in the US Army, stationed in Korea.

After his honorable discharge, he returned home to Ely, NV, and worked for Miller Surveying. In the early 1970's, he and Richard Forman opened their own company called "Boundy & Forman Surveying" in Ely. He later moved to Tonopah where he started Boundy Land Surveying. Then began working for the Nye County Road Department in May of 1994 until his retirement in February 2004.

Wally was preceded in death by: Jean Marie Goyenetche Boundy, son: Thomas J. Boundy; parents; John A. and Mable R. Boundy; siblings: John Boundy Jr., Robert A. Boundy, William B. Boundy, Katherine Boundy Davis and Paul A. Boundy.

He is survived by his sons Shayne J. (Sheila) Boundy & Jon J. Boundy (Tara), grandchildren Marcus (Ali) and Devan Boundy (DeLaria) ; great-granddaughter (Arwyn), brother Grant "Pete" Boundy, sister Diane Boundy Gunderson, close personal friends Gary and Terri Godfrey, multiple nieces and nephews all who loved him dearly.

As he was a long time member of the Elks Lodge in both Ely and Tonopah . A memorial event is planned for August 9th at the Elks Lodge in Tonopah at 12 p.m.
